Welcome to the Common Core Connection.  The purpose of this site is to present a collection of Common Core State Standards information and resources that can be used by teachers, parents and students.  While the site has been developed for use by Toquam Magnet Elementary School in Stamford, Connecticut, you will find that most of the information is helpful and informative regardless of where you reside.

On this website you will find pages that are specific to teachers, students, and parents, including a page for parents with information in Spanish.  Teachers will find resources that will help to implement the CCSS, links to lesson plans, and classroom resources. Parents will find information regarding the CCSS and will learn how they can work with their children to master grade specific standards. Students will find a variety of learning games that will make learning fun and engaging!
