About The Standards

The Common Core State Standards are organized by grade level and by subject, English Language Arts and Math.  Once you choose the subject, the standards are arranged by strand.  The CCSS make the expectations for each school year very clear and allow students to know what they need to accomplish to be successful.  These standards were designed to with the goal of that when a student is ready to graduate from school they will be prepared to succeed in college and in a modern workforce.
