English Language Arts

Reading, writing, phonics, and sharing are all parts of English Language Arts.  You probably didn't even realize that when you are sharing your work during the closing meeting in Readers or Writers Workshop that you were working on the goals set for you to achieve by the end of Kindergarten!  Everything you do in the classroom is to help you accomplish these goals.

Outside of the classroom there are a lot of things you can do to practice what you are learning at school. One way to play the games that are in this section and to the Math section of the website.  Use the menu on the left side of the screen to take you to a lot of fun games that you can play at home with your family.
